The project entitled “A study on customer satisfaction and preference towards the mobile network service providers with special reference to Coimbatore city” is carried out with an objective to determine the consumer preference and satisfaction. A descriptive study was conducted to achieve the objectives. In total 125 respondents filled a well-structured questionnaire having a list of statements pertaining to the products and services & facilities provided by the service provider. The main objective of the study was to know how the customers of all mobile network service providers in Coimbatore broadband perceive its in service provider. And also identifying the factors affecting the preferences of the customers results reveal that the dimensions which influence the satisfaction and preference level of customers are: core services (like good coverage, good connectivity and network quality) and talk time. Further results show that there is a significant relations between the brand name and the preference of the customers. Hence, it has been recommended that telecom companies should focus connectivity, talk time plans, coverage and network quality.

Self-balancing robots are a topic of curiosity amongst students, roboticists, and hobbyists around the world. The fascinating aspect is the fact that it is a naturally unstable system. This project presents an attempt on developing an autonomous self- balancing robot. A key element in maintaining the robot in the upright position is estimation of the tilt angle. For this, the Kalman Filter has been implemented and tested to fuse data from a gyroscope and an accelerometer. In addition, the method- ology in which the hardware was chosen and put together has been justified. Then the software development and challenges in the implementation of the PID Control have also been explained. Lastly the control of the robot has been explored, with characterization of the robot in an attempt to implement an Bluetooth Control Robot

The Reliability Engineers, more commonly known as the RE’S, need to complete reliability work requests and handle many projects as well as develop new tools which always make quality and reliability job of the RE’S Easy. The Quality Dashboard, more commonly known as, RE: QD is going to serve as one stop report for all the RE’s and then there will be future addition of tools which will be added in this one stop report, rea son why we shifted from power BI to SharePoint site dashboard making

In this paper, the state of the art of Steel Castellated Beams' manufacturing, applications, and its failure pattern is explained. The current research status of castellated beam activity is not mature and needs a lot to be researched in relation to beams without web openings. The presence of different opening forms such as square, hexagonal, rectan-gular, octagonal and oval etc. in the web beams introduces several additional failure modes, namely; lateral-torsional buckling of web posts, shear force web post buckling, forming of four plastic hinges around the opening corners, rupture of welded joints over traditional steel beams in the castellated beams. To ensure a effective web opening of the castellated beam optimization techniques such as tug of war algorithm, charged system algorithm in MATLAB coding or genetic algorithm are introduced in this paper. Apart from this FEM analysis of experimental and theoretical studies are mentioned considering the impact of different parameters, such as opening forms, opening distance, opening spacing, different number of openings etc

Considering safety in automobile child restraint systems are considered as highly effective devices. These devices protect child from causing or undergoing serious injuries and fatal accidents during an event of crash. Different types like rear facing harness, forward facing, seat belts, and booster seat with lap and shoulder belt restraint systems are present. The main purpose to be served by these restraint systems is protection to occupant. Booster seats with proper belt positioning provide minimum injury as per research data. In previous studies, it is found that booster seats are effective. The Objective of present work is to perform FEA analysis on captain seat as per FMVSS 225 and to find overall stresses and strains plot.

A captain seat used in 2nd row seating of a motor vehicle needs to be tested for child safety. FMVSS 225 concerns about safety standard maintained in re spect to restraint systems used. FEA analysis is conducted on the captain seat as per the loading conditions and the pull test stated by the safety standard FMVSS 225 now these analytical results are validated by physical test. This test conditions are in close relation to finite element methods practices. Which will further bring to conclusion that the captain seat is safe to use as required by the safety standard. There are different test also under FMVSS 225 but we are validating only for the pull test for a captain seat with top tether
